Questions about dedicated transport.
How is dedicated transport different from a normal courier shipment?
There is no scheduled transshipment and no sorting hub along the way. One vehicle performs one agreed assignment from collection to delivery, instead of your parcel being consolidated with others en route.
Can I book dedicated transport for a non-standard size?
Yes, but I always verify the dimensions and weight against the actual vehicle before accepting the job — I will not take a shipment on the assumption that it “should fit”.
Will I get confirmation at collection and delivery?
Yes. Depending on the nature of the job I document it with a consignment note, photographs or a written collection and handover report.
How much does dedicated transport cost?
There is no fixed price list — the price depends on the route, size, weight and timing. I prepare each quote individually and give it to you before the transport starts, usually within an hour of a complete enquiry.
